Description
Sprouted Sathu Maavu also called as Health Mix is a nutritious blend of ingredients sprouted, roasted and grinded to a powder. Sathu Maavu is a great source of nutrition for all ages especially for growing kids. Sathu Maavu is a blend of grains, pulses, millets and nuts each roasted separately and powdered in a flour mill.
Sathu Maavu ingredients & method varies from region to region but essentially a mix which nourishes the needed nutrients for the body. We take extreme care while sprouting roasting to enhance taste quality of the nutritious drink.

How to Use
Sweet Version:
- Take 25 g (about ½ cup) Sprouted Sathu Maavu in a cooking vessel.
- Add 200 ml of water and whisk well without lumps.
- Cook on medium-low flame, stirring continuously. The porridge will turn a darker brown and thicken.
- Switch off the flame once it reaches your desired consistency.
- Add warm milk and jaggery powder as per taste.
Salt Version:
- Take 25 g (about ½ cup) Sprouted Sathu Maavu in a cooking vessel.
- Add 250 ml of water and whisk well without lumps.
- Cook on medium-low flame until it thickens.
- Turn off the flame and mix with buttermilk and a pinch of salt to taste.
Tip: Sweet version is suitable for kids. Salt version is light & suitable for elders and diabetics.
