Description
Millets Sathu Maavu also called Multigrain Health Mix, is a nutritional blend of millets, dry fruits, and Lentils. It is used as a weaning food for infants or toddlers in Indian households because of its high nutritional value. Millets Sathu Maavu can be used to prepare porridge by simply adding hot water or milk to it and it can also be used in pancakes, idli, dosa, etc.
Ingredients
Little Millet, Foxtail Millet, Finger Millet-Ragi, Pearl Millet, Kodo millets (Arikelu),
Banyard millets (Vudalu), Cashewnuts(8%), Almonds(8%), Rice(9.5%), Whole Urad Dal(10%),
Green Gram(2%), Masoor Dal(2%), Dry Ginger(0.2%), Cardamom(0.3%)
How to Use
Sweet Version:
- Take 25 g (about ½ cup) Millet Sathu Maavu in a cooking vessel.
- Add 200 ml of water and whisk well without lumps.
- Cook on medium-low flame, stirring continuously. The porridge will turn a darker brown and thicken.
- Switch off the flame once it reaches your desired consistency.
- Add warm milk and jaggery powder as per taste.
Salt Version:
- Take 25 g (about ½ cup) Millet Sathu Maavu in a cooking vessel.
- Add 250 ml of water and whisk well without lumps.
- Cook on medium-low flame until it thickens.

Turn off the flame and mix with buttermilk and a pinch of salt to taste.
Tip: Sweet version is suitable for kids. Salt version is light & suitable for elders and diabetics.
General Instructions
- Use a dry spoon to scoop the powder to prevent moisture from affecting its quality.
